President / CEO

Mark brings over 35 years’ experience in the electronic manufacturing world to his current role with one of Canada’s fastest growing companies. Mark joined Microart Services Inc. 16 years ago and as the current CEO has led the annual double digit growth through building effective relationships with customers and the Microart Team.
Mark has been able to blend the traditional value of the customer with new thinking and technology to ensure that Microart continues to build quality products that meet customer needs. His ability and passion to share his experience and knowledge allows him to fully understand manufacturing from concept to completion making him a valued resource to customers at all stages of their product’s life.

Executive Vice President

Charles has a degree in operations management from Durham College in Oshawa ON and brings a passion to enrich partnerships, best practices & people development while keeping business simple by focusing on vulnerability, transparency and collaborative growth. With more than two decades of experience in the manufacturing sector with OEM’s and CM’s alike. Charles has enjoyed roles both customer and supplier facing within supply chain, operations, account management, customer growth, strategy and executive leadership.

Business Consultant

Bernie is the Founder of Microart. He founded the company in 1981, sold the company in 1987 and then returned in 2001 as the General Manager.

He has vast experience in the PCB industry. His knowledge in PCB design, PCB manufacturing, and PCB assembly are second to none. He spends a great amount of his time training and mentoring the current staff on the intricacies of the business and how they can use their knowledge to help improve customers products and lower costs.

Sandra
St. Brice

CFO

Sandra St Brice migrated to Canada in June 2009. Once here she enrolled at Ryerson University in a post-graduate certificate in Financial Management, while at the same time registering for and pursuing her CGA designation. In September 2014 she obtained her CPA, CGA designation. During this time, she held the roles of accounting bookkeeper, senior accountant and then controller at the various organizations where she was employed. Today, she is the CFO of Microart Services where she guides financial decisions by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures, ensuring protection of assets and monitoring and controlling financial conditions to enable MSI to provide quality goods and services to its customers, employees and other stakeholders.

Carol Mak Julien Gagnier

Information Systems

Carol Mak is the CIO (Chief Information Officer) at Microart Services Inc., where Carol is responsible for the digital transformation of Microart platforms. Growing with the company since joining in 2004, Carol has learned aspects of customer service, procurement, operations and finance with Microart and the electronics manufacturing industry. Working cross-functionally between departments empowers Carol to analyze processes and develop system proficiencies in our endeavor for continuous improvement and growth.

H.R. Director

Julien brings over a decade of progressive experience directing corporate human resources and organizational engagement, growth and profitability for multiple organizations in the automotive industry. In addition to his HR experience, Julien has worked in an editorial capacity on some of Canada’s most notable employer of choice lists published nationally.Julien holds an MBA degree from the Schulich School of Business in Toronto, Canada and is a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL).

Dave is focused on helping manage the company’s research and development (R&D), as well as its technology future needs.

Dave has over 30 years of engineering work, from running teams to running projects, from concept to production. Dave has run all aspects of projects for all fields, including Space, Medical, Military, Industrial and Consumer products.

Johnson

Global Quality Assurance Manager

Paul M. Johnson is the Quality Assurance Manager at Microart and has been affiliated with the company since 1997. He graduated with honours in 1981 from the George Brown College of Applied Arts and Technology in the Electrical Engineering Technology field. He also holds a Certificate for Computer Technology from R.E.T.S., a Certificate in Advanced Computer Technology from Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology, a Certificate for ISO 9001 – Documentation for Manufacturing, a Certificate for Auditor – ISO 9001, and Certificates for Internal Auditor to ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and AS9100.
